FATTORIE DIDATTICHE - REGIONE DEL VENETO
As part of the interregional programme "Communication and Nutritional Education", and in particular the regional project "Culture that Nurtures: knowledge and flavours around the plate", the Veneto Region has decided to promote and develop the "Didactic Farms Project", in line with the experiences of educational approach of the schools to the "farm" - intended as a physical location and as a reservoir of informative, symbolic and cultural concepts - currently taking place in Veneto thanks to the initiative of organizations, associations or even simple companies. www.regione.veneto.it

ICEA - ENVIRONMENTAL AND ETHICAL CERTIFICATION INSTITUTE

ICEA is a Consortium that control and certifies companies that carry out their activities in respect of people and nature, defending workers dignity and rights of consumers. It is among the most important bodies of the sector in Italy and in Europe, where it operates to favour a fair and socially sustainable development that ranges from organic farming to other bio related sectors. It provides organic producers with certification that is valid for the world market, recognised by foreign certification bodies and accredited by national and international institutions:

OUR FOOD PRODUCTS CERTIFICATION

ORGANIC FARMING PRODUCTION
ICEA (Ethical and Environmental Certification Institute)
EC Reg. 2092/91 with Ministerial Authorisation N° 91737 since 18.07.2002. Controls and certifies the production, processing, sales and importation of agro-food products that have been produced organically, in compliance with European regulations.

THE "AIAB/ITALIAN ORGANIC STANDARDS (IOS)”
The first one to win the backing of all Italian IFOAM-accredited certifiers, involve more stringent criteria than EC Reg. 2092/91. Particularly received well abroad, this certification is required by distribution and retail networks. This also covers Organic Aquaculture production.

“BIOLOGICO DI FATTORIA” (Farm Organic)
It is the collective guarantee label awarded by CSQA, ICEA and AIAB, and which recognises “organically farmed” packaged agro-food products, the entire production cycles of which take place on the same farm.
